Electric driving:
The Future of Mobility

There are currently approximately half a million electric vehicles on the road in the Netherlands, half of which are registered as lease cars. Leasing companies have invested significantly in electric driving; about a quarter of their fleet is fully electric. This makes the leasing market a major driver for the electrification of the Dutch vehicle fleet.

Legislation promotes sustainability

The introduction of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) requires large companies to report on their sustainability performance as of January 1, 2025. As a result, 54% of companies indicate that they are implementing changes, with mobility being the most frequently mentioned area of focus.

Efficient use of charging infrastructure

We have been measuring the CO2 emissions of our business activities at Scope 1 and 2 levels since 2019. As a result, we know that the biggest impact makers regarding Planet are located at the Head Office, We Canteen, Cleaning, and Mobility. In addition to being impact makers, they can therefore also be game changers in climate action. Our ambition is to reduce the relative CO2 emissions of our operations by 50% compared to 2019 by 2030 at the latest, with the requirement that the energy is generated sustainably.
